In case it isn’t clear right away, on a page containing an article about a plane crash, there are two web banners (second not shown) advertising discounts for Porter Airlines. Someone dropped the ball here. Shouldn’t there be someone monitoring this? I’m sure there’s someone that looks for places to place ads to target the correct consumer, shouldn’t there also be someone making sure ads aren’t being placed in the wrong place?
i want to get a longboard
Red Stripe’s new “Lime Free” advertising is amazing. While numerous other brands rushed to get on the “New Lime Flavour” bandwagon, Red Stripe let people know that their beer’s flavour will not be sullied by lime.
What their beer is lacking is online presence. I couldn’t find anything online relating to their new campaign. They do have a website… but I really don’t know why. It really has nothing to say about the beer other than you can “print your own personalized bar signs” WOW! As you can see from the image below they’ve let you know with astericks that their site has been updated. That’s good to know.

I would think in this day and age that web presence would be a no brainer. Hear the ad on the radio, see it on a billboard then go online to look further into the brand and poof you’re target has been let down.
I don’t know… maybe it’s on their to-do list?
Had an amazing few days in NYC. The weather was great although kind of humid to be walking around as much as we did. Went up the Empire State building and the Top of the Rock. Went to the MOMA and Central Park. Liberty and Ellis island. And ate a lot of oysters. Pics to come.
